Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is a tribute to the name of a favorite uncle combined with the name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo, his debut studio album included the hit song "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became his first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott has released his second album together with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). This album is his third studio album Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. In late 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. After the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three songs at number one in less than one year in 2020.
